Kyler sent a few new pictures today! He had his first baptism on Saturday and the girl who was being baptized chose him to do it. He said it was soooo cool and that it was really awesome to experience!
He said that they work hard and it's been nice to see the fruits of their labors when someone chooses to be baptized.
He said he has found out quickly that the mission isn't just about baptisms, it's about helping everyone; nonmember and members alike, because they all have issues in their lives that are hard to deal with at times.
He said is companion is awesome and is excited to see what happens when things change over this coming weekend. He said they might stay or they might move on. He's afraid for when the time comes that he might get a Latino companion because it's going to be hard not having someone to talk to, but he knows that it will help him to learn the language. He says his Spanish is alright, he still can't understand much, but he is working hard at it.
He is very excited to get some packages. He said he hasn't had any mail in about 10 weeks. He is hoping to get something on Wednesday. He said he's planning on having a good day playing tennis and that altogether he's doing good!
