Change 13 Week 6

Hey! This week was pretty good, we worked normal and had a baptism!!!! I'll send pictures later this afternoon, me and my comp have some things to do so we're writing a little and then we're coming back later this afternoon to finish. This week we didn't end up finishing with the greatest amount of lessons or the greatest results as they call it but we're having baptisms and so we're happy and the mission should be happy. This week I baptized a 19 year old kid, his name is Gregory Espinoza and he's legit, he's like one of my best friends here in Ecuador. I am sure that the Lord brought me here to this sector so that I could help him because there were sisters here and they just couldn't get it done with him. He didn't get along with them as much as he does with me and Elder Flores and I'm happy because he's really cool, he's like my little brother but Ecuadorian version. Me and Elder Flores kinda lost track of the things that we needed to do to prepare for the future, meaning that we had baptisms and all awesome but we don't have anyone else. We don't have anyone to teach for this month, we don't have people because we baptized them all and so this week is rebuilding!! We are going to be knocking doors and talking to everyone to get some new people in the program and have some success. Hopefully we get blessed with some good people that can hopefully be baptized toward the end of September. Me and Elder Flores are becoming great friends, and I'm really happy to have him as a companion, we work well together and we're looking forward to not having changes. Hopefully we don't get changed, I'm really happy here in this ward and I love the people. This Saturday we are having a training with Elder D. Todd Christopherson and I'm excited, it should be a great meeting and I hope that this week can turn out great! I love and miss you all tons!! Have a great week! ELDER WILSON

Change 13 Week 5

Hey everyone!! This week was awesome here for me and Elder Flores, we had a baptism and even though our program is a little on the down side we have had 2 weeks with baptisms and this week we're putting another one in the water!! We finished up all the work that we had to do to get one family all members of the church and now we're going to be working to get them all to stay active and good in the church! It was a lot of work but me and Elder Flores really have enjoyed working this family and helping them come to the truth and to be active members in the church. They are the best and always want us to come teach or do a family night or whatever. I know that we came here to this sector because there are many families here that need us and what we have to offer. Me and Elder Flores are a good team and I really hope that the mission president lets us keep working together because he's great and we're having success changing peoples lives. This week we're going to be working a lot getting them all the re teachings done so that's all done and we are also working a lot with this 18 year old kid Gregory who's finally ready and excited to get baptized!!! The sister missionaries were working with him for like a month and he didn't wanna get baptized but we worked with him and taught and made great friends with him and now he's finally ready! I can't wait to see him get baptized because we have worked soo hard and he has been soo ready!! He just turned 19 and it made me remember when I was in his shoes just about 2 years ago can you believe that!!! Every day more I realize how fast time has gone and that I'm going to be 21 soon and coming home but NOT YET!! We're still in August ha ha!! Anyway I hope that everything is going well back home, I'm doing great here in Guayaquil, happy as ever!! I love and miss you tons!! ELDER WILSON

Change 13 Week 4

This change has gone by really fast, I can't believe that half of it is gone and done already. This week was awesome, we had a baptism and it all worked out well! I took pictures but I didn't bring my camera this week sorry. Anyway his name is Mario Dominguez and he was soo excited for his baptism, and Elder Flores got to baptise him. It was a great night and a lot of fun working with him and his family. Now in the Dominguez family the only person that isn't a member is the dad but for now we're seeing that he isn't going to be member for long time still. We have been working soo hard to get this baptism done that we didn't make much time this week for finding news and we ended up not getting anyone found. This week our program could suffer a lot if we don't get some new people found and taught, but we're not going to let that happen. Anyway me and Elder Flores are doing great, we get along really well and I've learned alot about Mexico, which I'm sure will come in handy when I come back home! I've lost weight! I'm not really sure why or how but this last week and a half I have experienced a loss of appetite and I'm not sure what's going on but I'm not complaining. I hope to keep this up so I can come home just as skinny as I was when I left. Anyway I hope that everything is all going well at home. Oh ya I got 3 packages from mom this week!! Thanks tons!! My "missionary finishing paper" also came but it had the normal finish date so I'll have to let you all know when the real one comes in. I love and miss you all tons!! ELDER WILSON

Change 13 Week 3 + Photos Nuevos!

Hey! This week I'm not going to end up writing much because even though there's a lot to say I don't feel like spending too much time writing. I don't know if it's because I'm coming home in 4 and a half months or what but I just feel like being in other places. This week me and Elder Flores had a good time working with our investigators but we really have been enjoying being with the Dominguez family, they are the family that I'm with in the picture that I sent last week. This week the youngest is going to be baptized and they will almost be all members, but not quite. We're going to be working next with a cousin that lives upstairs in the same house. Basically me and my comp are good, we haven't been getting the best high class food because this sector is a little more humble than others that I have been in but we love it here and are looking forward to working. I even got my hammock set up in my house, we found a member that had what I needed and I got it all hooked up and its sweet!!! I love and miss you tons!! ELDER WILSON
