Change 11 Week 2

Hey! This week was a good week going back and finding all the people that I know from when I was here before and teaching all the new people that are in the program now. It's really interesting getting transferred to an old sector because I know a lot of people but then again a lot has changed. I was here last year in June and I'm here now in May so it's just about exactly a year and the people that didn't wanna progress last year I'm giving them a second chance. It's really interesting but I have to say I wish they didn't have to send me to this particular sector because I'm remembering more and more everyday how hard it was to be in this part of Guayaquil. We're working in the richest ward within our mission boundaries, and it's hard because the people that don't have anything are really humble and accepting to new things and on the other hand here there's tons of nice houses and members that have lots of money, and people are a lot more busy and less interested in the messages that we have to share. I like it here and I'm going to take advantage out of every day that I have whereas I know the people and the ward. We are going to have a baptism this week and we're excited because this lady is awesome, she is a really converted women and we're excited to help her get to this step in the gospel. She unfortunately has some issues with her back and so we have to plan a really good service and think of the best way that she can endure the baptismal ordnance without putting stress on her back. We have had a couple new people and 2 of them even came to church with us, so we were really happy with what we did last week and are looking forward to having a good change. Me and my comp are already good friends, he's from Arizona and he is a big boy, but losing weight and fast. He came into the mission at 290 lbs. and now weighs 230! Can you imagine that lol! Me and him get along great, and we have already been talking too much English. Working with him has made me realize how far I've come when I started because my Spanish is great and I don't know how or why but I really have just come a long way. He needs a lot of help and I'm here for that and it's a goal that we have to make him a better Spanish speaker. I can't wait to talk to you all this weekend! Hopefully you don't have too many things planned out and we can chat for a while because we won't be able to talk again until we're in person and I'm home in December! I love and miss you tons!!
