Only a few more days left before Kyler is on his way to the Peru MTC. I went onto www.dearelder.com today to see about sending him a letter to the Peru MTC. It is free like it is to send one to the Provo MTC, but it is delivered through the "pouch" system. I have included some info the website offers on mail delivery to the Peru MTC below. I sent him a letter to the Peru MTC today. (It doesn't ask for a MTC Mailbox # or anything, just his name.) We'll see if he gets it and how long it takes to get there. I talked to a gal at the post office and she said it can take up to 3 weeks for a letter to get to Peru. That sucks!
The Pouch Department only sends one package per week to each mission. The deadline on the DearElder website to submit a pouch letter is 12 midnight (MST) on Sundays, which is technically 12am on Monday morning. We print, process, and deliver your letters to the Pouch Mail center in Salt Lake by 9am on Monday. The letters are sorted by mission and mailed out on Tuesdays.
